Hey everybody - we know there are a lot of questions after the MP event so we thought we'd throw up a post with some facts for you! Feel free to leave any extra questions you may have and we'll do out best to answer them.
We have an all new create-a-soldier & perk system:
Customize loadouts & appearance of your soldier
Over 20,000 possible combinations
Including heads, body types, equipment, gender
Primary, secondary, lethal, tactical, perks
Each squad member has 6 loadouts
All attachments and killstreaks are free to choose
Earn Squad Points and spend them how you want
Perks are divided into 7 types and each class has a base of 8 points:
Speed - Examples shown:

Agility - increased movement speed
Handling - Examples shown:
On the go - reload while sprinting
Strong arm - throw equipment further & decrease grenade cook time

Awareness - Examples shown:

Blast shield
Equipment - Examples shown:
Fully loaded - Start with max ammo capacity
Extra tac
Elite - Examples shown:
Ping - activate a sonar ping upon killing and enemy, revealing nearby hostiles
Dead eye - Consecutive kills increase the chance to deal more damage with bullet weapons (5 points)
For strike packages we're bringing back Assault, Support, Specialist. Customizable per class:
Assault packages reset upon death - Examples shown:
SAT COM - Utilize satellite communications to relay enemy movements. Drop multiple Sat Coms on the map for enhanced reads on enemy locations.
Tier 1 - "Eyes on" effect
Tier 2 - traditional sweeping UAV
Tier 3 - faster sweeping UAV
Tier 4 - directional UAV
Guard Dog - Your own Riley watching your back. Your dog can alert you to nearby enemies.
Maniac - Knife expert equipped with advanced armor. Forgoes guns in favor of high-speed melee attack. Does not regenerate health.
Support packages do not reset on player's death. Examples shown:
Night Owl - An advanced companion drone that detects enemies based on proximity and protects you from explosives.
MAAWS - Lase targets to guide missiles from the free-fire shoulder mounted rocket launcher.
Specialist package allows the player to earn additional perks with consecutive kills
Weapons feature 30 new weapons across classes, including new Marksman Rifle class:

SMGs shown - Vector CRB, MTAR-X
LMGs shown - M27-IAR
Marksman rifle shown - IA2 (w/ built in sniper scope with dual render)
Sniper rifle shown - L115 (w/ built in sniper scope with dual render)
Game modes include seven new game types, including:
Search & Rescue - A take on Search & Destroy, but rather than having a single life per round, in Search & Rescue your team can revive you by collecting your tag
Cranked - A new level of TDM. When you get a kill, you gain new abilities, but you also start a countdown clock. Rack up the next kill before the timer hits zero, or you'll explode.
Squads -
Squad vs. Squad – Two-player competitive, pitting you & your squad vs. your opponent & their squad.
Squad Assault – Play against another player’s squad – even when they're offline in up to six-player co-op. Match-make against squads made from around the world, or select one of your friend’s squads to assault.
Wargame – You & your squad of five soldiers vs. another squad, swap out your custom soldiers at any time with a friend for quick co-op play.
Safeguard – Survive wave after wave of enemies in up to four-player co-op.
We're introducing dynamic map events which vary from map to map, they vary from player triggered traps (blow up a wall), to map changing events as seen on Strikezone where a KEM strike transforms the entire map.
Field Orders:
Randomized challenge drops on the battlefield that awards players with a Care Package when completed
Refills your ammo & equipment
First blood will always drop the first Field Order briefcase
Could be anything from getting a headshot to using your Lethal.
Also a way the player can trigger the dynamic map event on Strikezone (the chance to receive it will be lower in release than it was at the event)
New additions to the animation system:
Contextual lean - can naturally lean around obstacles
Mantling -
Move fluidly over objects, while not losing momentum
Low-mantle, while firing your weapon
Jump mantle from roof-top to roof-top
Knee Slide -
Natural transition from sprinting to crouch or prone
Maintain momentum as you move through the world
Ability to shoot while sliding
Call of Duty App:
The Call of Duty App gives players a second screen experience. The app offers some of the best and most popular features from Call of Duty Elite, along with a host of new features, and allows fans to stay connected to the console experience wherever they go.
Players will have the power to edit their squad pre-match, have one-touch access to change loadouts before your next spawn while in match, as well as view and share after-action results with friends on Facebook and Twitter, and more. The new Call of Duty App will launch alongside it this November on tablet and mobile devices, and all app features will be available on current and next generation consoles.
Clans & Clan Wars:
Call of Duty: Ghosts also features Clan support. With the Call of Duty account, you can join, create, and manage a Clan from in-game or from the Call of Duty App. There will be in-game Clan rewards, as well as Clan vs. Clan playlists, which are all available on both current and next gen. Additional Clan features inside the app include Clan Chat, Rally-Up, and a Clan Emblem Editor.
The Call of Duty App also introduces Clan Wars, a Clan-based game mode in the app that ties directly to multiplayer. It offers a Clans experience and rewards players with cool items, both in Ghosts multiplayer and in the app. This experience enlists players into a larger conflict, where any Clan member, no matter what skill level, can contribute to the Clan Wars mission and compete against other Clans for XP bonuses and exclusive in-game content.
Due to balancing and feedback some of these items may change. Feel free to let us know what you think.
